Family Sessions

I have been so, so, so excited to share these stunning Lillie Park family photos with you! I wanted to share this right away! Like, run through the door and edit quickly to give beautiful photos ASAP! From the very beginning, I knew that the Zanaboni’s were going to incredibly kind and fun. I was not wrong.

From beginning to end, it was just magic! I just love the dynamics of their family. You can tell how much love they share and how much these kids want to be around their amazing parents.

October is a funny month. You’ll have some weeks that it looks like (and feels like) summer and then some that are bringing out winter coats. You get some beautiful flowers one week and fall colors the next. It’s really just a fun and exciting time to be outside and playing around.

Getting ready for the session is definitely a lot of work, so when you get to the session, it’s so nice to have a little chill time getting to know each other. Older siblings are always so helpful and eager to play games and smile and these two were so great at all of it! Love these older kids stages that show how grown up they already are.

Being the parents of young kids always has it’s challenges with family photos. Inevitably, someone is going to over the whole thing before it begins, but I love having enough time to get to know everyone and giving them space to enjoy being there. It makes everything more fun and go more smoothly.

Sweet baby boy was totally in love with his bottle of rice puffs and 100% wanted them within his line of sight at all times. Giving him enough time to eat his weight in rice puffs and get lots of mom and dad snuggles, you’d never ever know that he was sad. He is so perfect and so adorable!

I was so excited that he gave us shots of those super cute incoming teeth. If there is a cute little smile happening, know that there is a bottle of rice puffs making all of it possible! 🙂

Finding a location

Lastly, this location! We kind of stumbled upon it by accident. Another photographer was in our first choice location, so we started walking around a little more to give them some time to finish. That’s when we ran into this and I am So. Glad. We. Did! Instant favorite and stunningly beautiful!
