I’m so excited to share this Saline nature reserve session with you today! Family pictures around Christmas are so much fun because everyone is just so happy to be together. The Stacey family was no exception! They braved the cold and wind and made it look easy!
Saline Nature Reserve Session
I meet a lot of really kind and amazing people and it’s one of my favorite things about my job. These guys, seriously, they’re it! I’m positive that they would do anything for anyone. When you give that vibe off as a first impression…well…you’re going down in my history as one of the kindest families I’ve ever met. They love to spend time together and laugh together and it’s obvious. One of my favorite prompts is to instruct my clients to look at each other and laugh. It’s always an awkward moment for everyone but generally gives off the cutest smiles although most don’t give more than a quiet chuckle. What I loved about these siblings is that their fake laughs were their absolute best effort! I think I’ll hear those laughs every time I look at their photos. It makes me smile just to remember.
I am swooning over how gorgeous these tall grasses are for the portrait pictures. I’m that person who always finds amazing locations…off the side of the freeway. Totally not accessible. So excited about this beautiful location. We had really great variety for the family, for couples, individuals and for their super adorable golden retriever. (Total soft spot for me. I grew up with a retriever that was my best friend.) I am so excited that we got “the shot” with their puppy! Sometimes it takes a while and a lot of finessing, but we were done in a matter of minutes due to the expert ability to sandwich the dog between two people. Genius move, guys!
